Know when to pray, and which way to face.
Two of the most-used tools in the app, built to be accurate without needing you to think about them.
A day with five fixed points
Adhan alerts, fixed for modern Android
Newer versions of Android are aggressive about killing background alarms — Islamic World Pro handles the permissions this needs directly, including:
- Exact-alarm permission handling for Android 12+
- Automatic re-arming of alarms after a restart
- A one-time prompt to exempt the app from battery optimisation
- A graceful fallback tone if a custom Adhan audio isn't set
Today, at a glance
A live compass to Makkah, wherever you are
Using your phone's compass and GPS together, the Qibla finder stays accurate and fast — and keeps working even with a weak signal, so you're never left guessing which way to face.
Prayer times & Qibla, explained
Do I need internet access for prayer times to work?
No. Once your location is set, prayer times and Adhan alerts continue working offline.
What if I deny location permission?
The app falls back gracefully to Makkah as a default, so it still functions — accuracy for your local prayer times simply improves once location is enabled.
Why didn't my Adhan alert go off?
On Android 12 and newer, exact alarms and battery optimisation can silently block notifications unless permission is granted. Islamic World Pro prompts for both directly inside the app.
